Incheon Asian Para Games Ends Friday

The Incheon 2014 Asian Para Games ended with a closing ceremony on Friday, wrapping up a week of heated competition.

Under the slogan “A Wave of Passion, Now Begins!,” some six-thousand athletes and officials from 41 countries participated in the the Incheon Para Games, which were the largest to date.

North Korea also participated in the games for the first time, adding to their significance.

A total of 474 South Korean athletes and officials participated in all of the 23 events. South Korea ranked second in the medal tally behind China and ahead of Japan.
