N. Korean Media Call for S. Korea's Efforts to Improve Relations

North Korean media has repeated its demand that South Korea halt all acts of slander and provocation to improve inter-Korean relations.

The Minju Chosun, Pyongyang’s official paper published by the Cabinet, said Tuesday that slandering acts are expressions of hostility and distrust, calling on Seoul to stop acts of slander and move toward reunification.

North Korea's propaganda website Uriminzokkiri also urged the South to make sincere efforts and take substantive measures to improve inter-Korean relations.

Meanwhile, Pyongyang has not made any response to Seoul's proposal to hold the agreed high-level talks on Thursday.
