Five contemporary South Korean novels, including Park Min-kyu's "Pavane for a Dead Princess," have been translated into English and published in the U.S.

The Literature Translation Institute of Korea and Dalkey Archive Press have jointly published the English version of works of famous Korean novelists, including the aforementioned Park, Ha Il-ji and Choi In-ho.

In addition to the five novels translated this year, the institute published ten in the U.S. last year, including Yi Kwang-su's "The Soil". A further five books are slated to be translated and published in the second half of next year.
