Three South Koreans have reportedly acted as human shields in front of a water purification plant in the suburbs of Baghdad.

A South Korean non-governmental organization to which the three Koreans belong said they moved to the plant after one of them was driven out of a Baghdad hotel by Iraqi authorities for taking photographs of the bombing in the Iraqi capital.

The organization added that one of the three Koreans said over the phone that two hundred civilians were killed or injured after a bomb fell on one of the private facilities near the hotel in which the three Koreans were staying.
