The majority of South Korean companies operating in the Gaeseong Industrial Complex believe there should be more inter-Korean economic cooperation projects of a similar nature.

According to a survey by the Korea Federation of SMEs, 82 percent of the 34 companies operating in the industrial complex responded they want to see more inter-Korean economic cooperation models like the Kaesong Industrial Complex.  

The federation conducted the survey to mark the 10th anniversary of the opening of the industrial park.

In the survey, 57 percent of the companies responded they are satisfied with their decision to move into the park, while seven percent of them said they regret the decision.

They picked securing stability in the park's operation and addressing problems related to passage, communications and customs as the most urgent tasks to be addressed.
