N. Korea Demands Seoul Block All Propaganda Leaflets

North Korea has repeated its demands the South Korean government should deter all flying of anti-Pyongyang propaganda leaflets over the inter-Korean border to the North.

The North's Rodong Sinmun said Saturday Seoul should stop protecting and keeping its silence on those responsible for the leaflet campaigns. The paper urged Seoul to block the dissemination of such leaflets altogether.

The paper also said no talks would be held between the two Koreas if the leaflets continue to be flown over, carrying messages that criticize North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his regime.

The report went on to bash South Korean Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se and the South's representative for the six-party talks, Hwang Joon-kook, for criticizing the North's nuclear development.

The Rodong Sinmun's comment comes just a day after a defector group flew over one million leaflets into the North from Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province on Friday in a non-publicized event.
