S. Korea's Biggest Cooking Competition to be Held Nov. 3 to 5

South Korea's largest cooking competition will kick off for three days starting November 3 at the aT Center in Yangjae in southern Seoul.

The 2014 Korea Food Trend Fair will be sponsored by the Korean Association for Confectionery and Baking and will be jointly hosted by the association and the aT Center as well as event, publishing and design group Dreamport.

Roughly one-thousand culinary students and chefs along with participants from related sectors and institutions will take part in about ten cook-offs, including the Korean Food Challenge Gourmet Competition, a creative cooking contest that involves South Korea's wild plants and a baking competition using South Korean agriculture products.

The aT Center expressed hopes the event's exhibitions and competitions would help increase global recognition of Korean food.
