North Korean defector groups remained adamant that they will continue to send anti-Pyongyang leaflets across the border despite threats from the North that they will be persecuted.
 
The heads of North Korean defector groups, including the Fighters for Free North Korea, held a news conference in Seoul on Monday.
 
The organizations said they will continue to fly the leaflets, adding, however, that they won't publicize the events any more considering the safety of residents near the border.
 
Regarding threats by the North that those engaging in the leaflet campaign will be persecuted, the groups said if Pyongyang continues to threaten South Korea, they will expose the inhumane nature of North Korea's highest authority to the world.
