The Samsung Lions have defeated the Nexen Heroes to win the Korean Series, South Korea's baseball championship.

The Lions demolished the Heroes 11 to 1 in Game 6 at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul Tuesday. Yamaico Navarro, who was voted the series MVP, hit a three-run home run in the top of the sixth inning which was his fourth home run of the Series.

With four wins and two losses in the best-of-seven series, the Lions took the title for the fourth consecutive year.
