Korean Language Broadcasters Conference Set for November 18

The 2014 Korean Language Broadcasters Conference will be held November 18 at the KBS headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.

This year’s event marks the 20th annual meeting, which will be attended by some 76 broadcasting staff and executives from 55 stations across 14 countries, including the U.S., China, Russia and Indonesia.

In commemoration of two decades, there will be an exhibition of videos and pictures and the publishing of a booklet to look back at the annual conferences.

An award ceremony for notable programs produced by the overseas Korean language broadcasters will also take place.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning and the Korea Communications Agency, KBS has been conducting various education programs to dispatch professionals overseas.
