Speed skater Lee Sang-hwa has won a gold medal at two 500 meter races in this season's first International Skating Union (ISU) Speed Skating World Cup.
At the event in Obihiro, Japan, Lee also won the second 500 meter race on Sunday with a record track record surpassing the 38.03 seconds set by German skater Jenny Wolf in 2010.
Her latest victory marks her tenth consecutive 500 meter win in the World Cup series.
Korea's leading long track skaters Lee Seung-hun and Kim Cheol-min each finished first and second in the mass start race, which debuted for the first time in the World Cup in Obihiro.
Sochi Winter Olympics gold medalist Park Seung-hi, who has shifted from short-track to speed skating, also won the second 500 meter race in women's Division B with a time of 39.05 seconds.
Mo Tae-bum finished fifth in the men's second 500 meters clocking in at 35.26 seconds.
