Skater Shim Suk-hee Wins Gold at ISU Short Track World Cup

South Korean short track skater Shim Suk-hee has won a gold medal at the International Skating Union (ISU) World Cup Short Track Speed Skating in Montreal, Canada.
 
Shim won the women’s 1,000-meter final on Monday with a time of one minute and 30-point-641 seconds.
 
The victory marks her 12th straight win in the World Cup series since the 2012-2013 season.
 
Shim’s compatriot Choi Min-jeong finished second to win the silver medal in the race.
 
On the men’s side, South Korean skater Shin Da-un won the men’s 1,000-meter race with a time of one minute and 24-point-610 seconds. South Korean skaters also claimed the win both in the men’s and women’s relay events.
