Two North Korean fishing boats briefly crossed over the western sea border about 10 Kilometers off the Paeknyung Islands on Tuesday afternoon. The office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said three high-speed patrol boats immediately responded, sending the boats back over the Northern Limit Line. The office of the Joint Chiefs of Staff suspects that the North Korean fishing boats had crossed the line by mistake in heavy fog in the Yellow Sea which reduced visibility to less than 200 meters.
