KBS Korean Language Broadcasters Conference Opens

The 2014 World Korean Language Broadcasters Conference opened on Tuesday at the KBS headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul.
 
About 50 broadcasting staff and executives from 55 stations across 14 countries attended the plenary session on Tuesday morning. Later in the day, an award ceremony for notable programs produced by the overseas Korean language broadcasters was held.

At the three-day annual meeting, participants will discuss global cooperation and ways to promote Korean language broadcasting. Executives from both domestic and overseas Korean language broadcasters will gather at the National Assembly on Thursday to discuss the roles and directions of Korean language broadcasters around the world.
