Police hauled away 30 college students who launched a surprise anti-war demonstration in front of the U.S. Embassy in central Seoul Wednesday.

The protesters were captured while trying to enter the embassy compound to protest the U.S.-led war on Iraq.

Two of them climbed the fence of the embassy building and briefly hung a banner bearing the slogan "Stop the war. No! Bush." Some others linked themselves in chains outside the embassy building while chanting "No war, No troop dispatch."

Some minor injuries were reported during the scuffle with police.
