A domestic foundation has invited people to recommend candidates for its awards for exemplary multicultural families.

The Sharing Activity Foundation said Wednesday that it will receive recommendations for exemplary multiethnic families in five categories – filial piety, family unity, children’s education, contribution to local society and diligence.

The foundation will select two families and give them round-trip flight tickets and travel expenses of up to 500 dollars so immigrant spouses can invite their parents in their native countries to South Korea.

Those with recommendations can contact Sharing Activity Foundation secretariat at 02-472-4713 to submit relevant documents to the organization before December 24.
