A large-scale Korean shopping festival for foreign tourists will open from Monday to February 22 in major cities across the nation.

The Visit Korea Committee announced Sunday that the “Korea Grand Sale 2015” will start on Monday in Seoul, Busan and Jeju and other big cities.

During the period, 135 firms and 28-thousand businesses, including department stores, shopping malls, duty-free shops and hotels, will provide discount and free gift events for foreign tourists.

The committee plans to hold ceremonies marking the launch of the sale event on Monday at six international airports across the nation.
