Other Kim Jong-uns in N. Korea Forced to Find New Names

It has been confirmed through a North Korean official document that the regime has barred its people from using the same name as its leader Kim Jong-un.

According to the North Korean military’s internal document exclusively obtained by KBS, late North Korean leader Kim Jong-il mobilized authorities to find people with the same name as his son, "Jong-un," and ordered them to find new names.

In the measure taken around the time when Kim Jong-un was named heir to the dynasty of the Kim family, other Kim Jong-uns were also ordered to renew all official documents with new names. Birth registrations were also rejected for babies with the heir's name.
