Young S. Korean Artists Win Awards at Geneva Music Competition

Young South Korean artists claimed some major awards during the 69th Geneva International Music Competition.

In the competitions, that wrapped up on December 2 in the Swiss city of Geneva, 18-year-old Mun Ji-Yeong won First Prize and 25-year-old Kim Hong-gi took home Third Prize in piano. 

Meanwhile, seventeen-year-old Kim Yu-been tied for Second Prize in flute. Kim also won both the Audience Prize and the Young Audience Prize as well.
