"80 N. Korean Soldiers, Workers Killed at Oct. Construction Collapse"

About 80 North Korean soldiers and workers are reported to have been killed at a construction site while building a new headquarters for the regime's powerful National Defense Commission.

The Tokyo Shimbun reported Tuesday about the deadly building collapse in October, quoting a South Korean government official.

According to the intelligence the official obtained from a North Korean source, the North Korean military removed the debris for two days while covering the incident scene from foreign satellites.

North Korea’s state-run news outlets have not yet reported about the collapse.
