A traditional French Christmas festival will be held in the heart of Seoul this weekend.

In celebration of the Christmas season, the Associations of French people overseas (ADFE) will set up a traditional French outdoor market on Saturday in Seorae Village in southern Seoul.

Around one-thousand French nationals living in South Korea will take part in hosting the event, providing traditional French cuisine, such as Foie Gras, a dish made from the liver of a goose or duck that has been specially fattened.

Seorae Village, located in Banpo-dong, Seocho District, has emerged as the biggest French residential area in the country. It is home to around 600 French people, including the officials of the French Embassy to Seoul and the employees of French companies in the city.
