Jung Dong-hyun 1st S. Korean Skier to Compete in FIS World Cup Finals

Jung Dong-hyun has become the first South Korean skier to compete in the finals of an event at the International Ski Federation World Cup.
 
The 26-year-old ranked 28th in the first run in the men's slalom competition with the record of 52-point-18 seconds on Sunday in Åre, Sweden. Athletes that rank within the top 30 secure a spot in the finals.
 
Jung finished 25th in the overall rankings with a total score of one minute and 49-point-31 seconds after finishing at 57-point-13 seconds in the finals.
 
Marcel Hirscher of Austria ranked first with a total score of one minute and 40-point-37 seconds.
