Yun Sung-bin Wins Korea's First Sledding Medal in World Cup

Sledder Yun Sung-bin has won South Korea's first World Cup medal in the skeleton event.

Yun won a bronze medal with a combined record of one minute 52-point-23 seconds in the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (FIBT) Bob & Skeleton World Cup held Friday in Calgary, Canada.

Yun, who began his skeleton career in 2012, won a medal in his first World Cup after his surprising victory at the Intercontinental Cup earlier this year.

It is the first time a Korean sledder has joined the podium at the World Cup competition.
