Burden on Logistics Fees Rises with War in Iraq

With the war in Iraq, South Korean businesses shipping their exports by air are concerned over an increase in logistics fees. The Korea Foreign Trade Association said some air lines had begun to impose extra freight charges to offset the costs incurred by changes in routes following the U.S.-led war in Iraq. The association added that the increasing surcharges on oil are also adding to pressure on shipping costs
