N. Korea Internet System Unstable for Fifth Day

North Korea's Internet system was unstable for the fifth straight day with several websites still inaccessible on Saturday.

Websites like North Korea's main propaganda Web site Uriminzokkiri, which have servers located in China, have been down since late Friday.

Access to the Web site for the Choson Sinbo run by a pro-Pyongyang network in Japan was also unstable.

The Rodong Sinmun and the Korean Central News Agency, Web sites of the North’s state-run media, were working normally as of early Saturday.

Experts have pointed out that the unstable connection to North Korea's Web sites is continuing due to their vulnerability to distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
