Internet Connection Normalizes in N. Korea

Internet connection in North Korea has normalized following a week of instability.

As of Tuesday morning, the North's state-run media, including the Rodong Sinmun and the Korean Central News Agency, and propaganda Web sites Uriminzokkiri and Ryugyongclip are confirmed to all be accessible.

North Korean Web sites suffered unstable connection since state media portals that use the country's official domain first went down in the early hours of last Tuesday. Propaganda sites whose servers are based in China were also disabled.

In a National Defense Committee's spokesman statement on Saturday, North Korea pointed to the United States as being behind the Internet disruptions.
