South Korea has won four gold and two silver medals at the Asian Youth, Junior Women and Junior Men Weightlifting Championships in Doha, Qatar.

Jeong So-young of Seoul Physical Education High School claimed the overall top spot by clearing 105 kilograms in snatch for the silver and 141 kilograms in the clean-and-jerk for the gold in the women's 75 kilogram event.
   
Wando High School's Lee Yang-jae took the second place in the men's 105 kilogram event by lifting 170 kilograms in snatch and took a gold in the clean-and-jerk by lifting 215 kilograms. He also added another gold with a total score 385 kilograms.
