Japan's Kyodo News Agency reported Saturday that North Korea's envoy for the six-party nuclear talks, Ri Yong Ho, is expected to meet with former U.S. diplomats in Singapore next week.
 
Citing diplomatic sources, the report said Ri will meet with former U.S. envoys for North Korean negotiations, Stephen Bosworth and Joseph DeTrani, over a two-day period from Jan. 16.
 
Bosworth was the U.S.' head envoy for the six-party talks during President Barack Obama's first presidential term, while DeTrani took part in nuclear talks in 2005 when North Korea pledged to dismantle nuclear programs in exchange for pledges of energy assistance.
