S. Korea Defeats Kuwait 1-0 at AFC Asian Cup

The South Korean men's football team defeated Kuwait 1-0 at the AFC Asian Cup Group A match in Australia. 

The Taeguk warriors secured their second consecutive victory in rainy conditions at Canberra Stadium on Tuesday with midfielder Nam Tae-hee heading in the decisive goal in the 36th minute. 

South Korea defeated Oman 1-0 on Saturday in Canberra and can clinch a spot in the quarterfinals after the win over Kuwait depending on the result of another Group A match between Australia and Oman.

For Tuesday's match, head coach Uli Stielike replaced seven players from the starting lineup that featured against Oman.
