"It's finished if you don't change your mind."
Lindberg made the remark to KBS as she arrived in South Korea Tuesday for talks with Korean Olympic organizers.
The confirmation comes after the presidential office as well as the organizing committee declared that spreading the games' venues to North Korea or Japan is unacceptable.
Likewise, the Olympic authority is believed to have not delivered its list of 12 candidate cities for sharing the games to the Pyeongchang organizing committee. The IOC initially planned to make recommendations by late December.
The IOC officials said the idea of sharing venues wasn't to pressure Pyeongchang.

"It is to say how we can help organizing committees to have a lower budget."
Focus is now on Pyeongchang's preparations. A dozen IOC officials including Lindberg are now inspecting facilities in Pyeongchang.
