The government vowed stern retaliation if North Korea launches a provocation over anti-Pyongyang leaflets flown across the border by some South Korean civic groups.
 
In a statement on Wednesday, Seoul's Defense Ministry said that if Pyongyang carries out provocations, the South Korean military will sternly retaliate against the origin of attack and all commanding and support troops in North Korea. 
 
But the ministry said it has no information on whether North Korea actually conducted drills to wipe out areas where the leaflets were distributed as claimed by civic groups.
