"Chinese Fishermen in Dandong Suffering from N. Korean Patrols"

Chinese fishermen legally fishing along the border with North Korea are reportedly being harassed by North Korea patrols.

Hong Kong-based newspaper Wen Wei Po said that fishermen working in the North Korean waters of Amnok River pay 10-thousand yuan, or one-point 74 million won, to border patrols each month, but the patrols frequently plunder goods from them.

It added that a Chinese fisherman was recently killed as North Korean maritime police stole fish and other goods from the boat and capsized it.
