S. Korea Wins Asian Bowling Championship for 4th Straight Time

South Korea has become the Asian bowling champion for the fourth consecutive time.
 
Team Korea added a silver medal and a bronze on Monday to win overall at the Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships with a total haul of six gold medals, four silver and five bronze.
 
Son Yun-hee won a silver medal in the women’s masters division on the final day of competition, while Hong Hae-sol won bronze in the men’s equivalent.
 
Japan came in a distant second with two gold and two silver medals, while Singapore finished third.
 
South Korea claimed both the men’s and women’s overall titles.
 
A total of 21 countries competed in the 10-day championships held in Bangkok, Thailand. South Korea has won the biennial event since 2008.
