Health authorities are conducting an emergency investigation on passengers who were aboard a plane with a traveler infected with the deadly respiratory illness. The National Health Institute said a Taiwanese traveler with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome had flown to Seoul from Beijing to change planes to fly to Taiwan on March 28th. The institute said that its investigations found that none of the passengers aboard had contracted the flu-like illness. It added that it is highly unlikely for any of the passengers to have the disease since the virus is not contagious during incubation period. Nevertheless, the health institute plans to carry out thorough examinations on all the people who were aboard the plane because SARS is highly contagious. No outbreak of the illness has been reported in the nation.
