Hearing on Park Tae-hwan's Doping Case Set for Feb. 27

The international governing body for swimming, or FINA, will hold a hearing on February 27 on South Korean Olympic medalist Park Tae-hwan's doping case.

FINA or Fédération Internationale de Natation informed the Korea Swimming Federation (KSF) that it would hold the hearing in Lausanne, Switzerland on February 27.

Park will attend the hearing along with KSF President Lee Ki-heung and stress that he did not intentionally take the banned substance.

Park received an injection of Nebido, a testosterone enhancer, at a local hospital in July last year and competed in the Incheon Asian Games two months later. He was tested ahead of the Games, which opened in September, and was notified of the results in October.
