Football Association Demands Punishing Uzbek Footballer for Beating Korean Player

The Korea Football Association (KFA) has called for heavy punishment on an Uzbek player who assaulted a South Korean player at the King’s Cup International Football Tournament.

The KFA said Monday that it sent a letter to the tournament’s organizing committee, demanding a severe punishment against the player who punched in the face of Sim Sang-min at a King’s Cup match on Sunday.

The Uzbek player was red carded after punching in the South Korean player's face several times during a match in Thailand.
