South Korea's six-time Olympic speed skater Lee Kyou-hyuk has been named an honorary ambassador for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
 
Olympic organizers made the announcement praising Lee’s 23-year-long career of representing Korea.
 
Lee, who retired following the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014, is the seventh honorary ambassador for the PyeongChang Games.
 
He had previously taken on the role of honorary ambassador during PyeongChang’s Olympic bidding efforts.
