S. Korea Wins King's Cup

South Korea’s under-22 men’s football team has won the King’s Cup International Football Tournament in Thailand.

South Korea drew 0-0 with Thailand in their final match on Saturday, winning the title with seven points from two wins and one draw.

The South Korean team won the championship despite the replacement of head coach Lee Kwang-jong, who stepped down right before the tournament in order to deal with leukemia.

The team now led by Shin Tae-yong will compete in the AFC Under-23 Championship next month.
