With the rapid spread of a deadly flu-like virus, the National Health Institute has requested the World Health Organization to promote international cooperation in dealing with the illness. An official in Seoul said the health institute requested Sunday that the WHO facilitate the provision of information on severe acute respiratory syndrome to prevent further spread of the mysterious disease. No outbreak of the illness has been reported in the nation.
