K-Wave Magazine Hits Stores in Brazil

A magazine covering the Korean Wave has hit bookstores in Brazil.

Livraria Cultura, a bookstore chain in South America, announced on Wednesday that it will sell the Brazilian edition of K-Wave, a magazine launched by KBS and K-Culture in 2012.

An official of the store’s flagship location in downtown São Paulo said they decided to sell the magazine amid growing interest in Korean popular culture.

Livraria Cultura, which is notoriously selective in the brands that it accommodates, will now provide K-Wave with a sales network that covers 15 key cities in Brazil.

Previously, the magazine had been sold mostly online or through K-Pop associations in Brazil.
