Korean Map of UNESCO World Heritage Sites to be Published

The Korean National Commission for UNESCO says that it will distribute 80-thousand copies of a Korean-language map on world heritage sites this year.

With sponsorship from the Cultural Heritage Administration, the commission translated into Korean a map published by the UNESCO World Heritage Center.

The map features the locations and brief explanations of one-thousand-seven World Heritage sites across the world, including eleven South Korean historical relics like the Seokguram Grotto, Bulguksa Temple, Changdeok Palace and Namhansanseong Fortress.

Copies of the Korean-language map will be distributed at the commission office and World Heritage sites around South Korea.

An image file of the map can be downloaded at the Web sites of the commission and the Cultural Heritage Administration.
