President Roh Moo-hyun said Monday the introduction of a labor permit system for foreign workers will be implemented as planned.

After receiving a briefing from a presidential policy-making office concerning the labor community's fears that plans to introduce the system might be abandoned, Roh told presidential staff and aides that the permit system will be introduced in specific business sectors.
