S. Korean Duo Wins Country's First Medal at Bobsleigh World Championships

A South Korean duo has won a medal at the Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Championships for the first time in the nation.

In the two-man bobsled event in Winterberg, Germany on Sunday, Won Yun-jong and Seo Young-woo finished fifth with a combined time of three minutes 44-point-69 seconds in their four races.

The two men finished in the highest place ever in the country’s history of the sport, winning a medal at the championships, which award medals to the top six teams.
