An advance team of military officers have arrived in Kuwait to pave the way for the dispatch of non-combat troops to Iraq. Three field grade officers were briefed on the situation of the region by the South Korean Embassy in Kuwait. The officers plan to stay at Camp Doha and discuss with U.S. military officials the duration and location of deployment and duties of the Korean troops. Some seven hundred military engineers and medics will be dispatched to support the U.S.-led war in Iraq.
