The international governing body for football will decide on the host country of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup next week.
 
FIFA said that it will make the decision at a meeting of its Executive Committee scheduled for March 20 in Zurich, Switzerland.
 
The host country will be selected through a vote by about 20 Executive Committee members.
 
South Korea is vying with France to host the 2019 edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
 
At the upcoming meeting, the FIFA Executive Committee will also decide on the tournament dates of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
 
A working-level FIFA meeting decided last month to recommend that the dates of 2022 World Cup finals be shifted from the summer to the winter due to the searing heat of Qatar in June and July.
