An event promoting the 2018 Pyeongchang Paralympic Games has kicked off in downtown Seoul on Saturday.
 
The games’ organizing committee plans to designate a “Paralympic Day” and hold similar events every March until the Paralympic Games open on March 9, 2018.
 
The event was attended by Culture and Sports Minister Kim Jong-deok, Korea Paralympic Committee President Kim Sung-il and former figure skater Kim Yu-na.
 
This year’s Paralympic Day event set for Saturday and Sunday features various programs such as an exhibition of sporting goods for disabled people, a photo exhibition and musical performances.
