Rhythmic gymnast Son Yeon-jae has won a silver medal on Monday in her first World Cup event of the season.
 
Son received 18.050 in the final of the individual hoop event at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup Lisbon International Tournament to clinch the silver. Margarita Mamun of Russia won gold.
 
Son also tied for fifth place in the ball event, placed fifth in club and tied for sixth in ribbon.

She has won medals in all 12 World Cup events since the 2013 season.
