The Seoul city government will run street art zones on a trial basis to promote the activities of street performers.
 
The metropolitan government will designate by late next month 200 street art zones at plazas, parks, sidewalks and traditional outdoor markets in Seoul.
 
It will also give financial support to street performance troupes who are selected through an open audition.
