Overseas Korean Journalists to Gather in S. Korea

Korean journalists living abroad will gather in South Korea later this month for an annual conference.
 
The Overseas Korean Media Association (OKMA) said on Sunday that it will hold the 2015 Overseas Korean Journalists Convention in Seoul and Wando, South Jeolla Province from April 27 to May 1.
 
The theme of the five-day convention, co-hosted by Yonhap News Agency, is the globalization of Korea and the Korean language.
 
Participants will discuss substantial ways to promote the Korean language around the world based on their experiences.
 
At the convention, OKMA will unveil its programs for this year which includes a new media system that provides news and information on major cities in the Korean language.
