Spring Flower Festival to Open in Yeouido

A spring flower festival has kicked off from Tuesday in Yeouido in Seoul, prompting traffic restrictions on roads in the area until the event wraps up on April 16.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said cars will not be allowed on a one-point-seven kilometer area from the southern part of the Seogang Bridge to the Yeoui 2 Bridge, as well as on a one-point-five kilometer section from the entrance of the Full Gospel Church’s parking lot to the Yeoui-downstream Interchange.

Vehicular traffic on most roads around the National Assembly building will also be banned around the clock on weekends and restricted between 10 a.m. to 6 a.m. the next day on weekdays.

Bus routes in the area will be temporarily rearranged during the festival period.
